I've just arrived from my trip to Morocco, I spent two days in Marrakech and eight in Essaouira, I had lots of fun and Essaouira beaches were amazing.

I was so excited when I saw the LA based designer’s signature style wedges splattered in paint and precisely bejeweled.

Available in May, exclusive to Little Burgundy in Canada, they are coming in limited quantity and are rumored to be reasonably priced. Hand painted for a fashionista’s enjoyment, be sure to wear with care and watch your walk.

But, if you don't want to buy them or they are finsihed when you go to the shop, there's also the possibility of DIY. You can paint your old JC's!!

One in the air for vintage shopping!

Madrid and little vintage boutiques are popping up and drawing attention. 

There are a few haute-couture 2nd hand boutiques, most notably La Faubourg on Calle Almirante, where you can pick up interesting pieces by Balmain and YSL.

Also you have Le petit vintage on Calle Santa Bárbara, 11 

If you are looking for a less pricey experience, there are small boutiques throughout Malasaña,  moving west from Calle Fuencarral, including Calle Espiritu Santo, La  Corredera Baja de San Pablo, Calle del Pez and mainly Calle Velarde.   Most of the shops are small but are well laid out, separating the  clothes by item and offering a large selection of accessories, shoes,  handbags and sunglasses.

A lot of the clothes are brought back from cities such as London, Berlin and New York, but Spanish taste is evident.  I really like this aspect of vintage shopping in Madrid,  as it does not seem to be a mish-mash of clothes that people have been  able to pick up anywhere and simply whack on a high price tag promoting  it as vintage. In shops such as Biba Vintage and Magpie Vintage Clothes, both on Calle Valarde,  the clothes are picked out specially and I am sure the shop assistant,  with a perfect hairstyle and rouged lips, would wear any piece in the  shop.

On calle Velarde , there is also another one which I like : La mona  checa 

 To sum up, THE THE space vintage! , which is also great.

On the other hand there is the famous Rastro market which takes place every Sunday in the mornings.
